Welcome to hooping!!! First of all, thank you for choosing Stellar Flow Co. to make your first hoop! We are so honored! Now, what size do you need?
For a brand new beginner that wants to learn how to ON body hoop we recommend our Beginner's Dance Hoops.These are made of a heavier PE tubing that will allow you to keep the hoop up and learn, while also giving yourself a little work-out! For sizing, the general rule is to measure from the floor to your belly button. Keep in mind, the bigger the hoop, the easier it will be for you to hoop with! You can even add an inch or two to your measurement to be safe. We recommend anywhere from a 36"-46" hoop to start with! You of course can go even bigger! But we would not recommend going any smaller!
If you have some experience with hooping and are looking for a good size on body hoop, we would recommend a 36"-40" 7/8" or 3/4" polypro or HDPE. HDPE is a little heavier and is currently only available in natural and our taped hoops selections. You may always add gaffers tape to your hoop for not only design, but to help with grip!!! Gaffers tape add-on is always recommended for on body!!!

Welcome to hooping!!! First of all, thank you for choosing Stellar Flow Co. to make your first hoop! We are so honored! Now, what size do you need?
For a brand new beginner we would recommend 28"-32" 3/4" hoops.
If you feel a little comfortable with a hoop you are welcome to try out the same sizes, 28"-32", in 11/16" or 5/8"!!!
5/8" Hoops are a little more bouncy and little harder for a novice to control, generally.
